JettyRobot Tools and Accessories

The JettyRobot has a range of tools and accessories that are key to fulfilling its main mission of working in the pipeline. The tools and accessories fall into several categories based on their purpose.

Tools for Cleaning in Pipes

The main task for which JettyRobot was designed and manufactured is cleaning pipes of different shapes, diameters and lengths. We use the following tools to clean pipes:

Dry Ice Blasting Tool

Designed for JettyRobot 6 and JettyRobot S.

Technical parameters

  • According to the nozzles used and the configuration of the dry ice blasting machine

Abrasive Blasting Tool

Designed for JettyRobot 6 and JettyRobot S.

Technical parameters

  • according to the nozzles used, the configuration of the abrasive blasting machine (pot) and the media used

Brush Module

Designed for JettyRobot 6 and JettyRobot S.

Technical parameters

  • Rotation speed 100-600 rpm
  • Air pressure 6-10 bar (87-145 PSI)
  • Air consumption 300-600 l/min (10-21 cfm)
  • Designed for round brushes
  • Brush diameter 200-1000 mm (7.87”-39.37”) (up to 1200 mm /47.2”for soft brushes)
  • Hose 50 m (164 ft)

Rotary Vacuum Cleaner Head

Designed for JettyRobot 6 technology.

Technical parameters

  • High suction power
  • Various nozzle types (including brush nozzles)
  • Range 100 m (328 ft)
  • The vacuum hose is routed along the body of the robot

High Pressure Water Jetting Tool

Designed for JettyRobot 6 and JettyRobot S.

Technical parameters

  • Up to 3,000 bar (43511 PSI) 26 l/min (0.92 CFM)
  • Removal of old paint, rust, limescale, etc.
  • Highly effective cleaning

Inspection Tools

Standard cleaning with JettyRobot technology also includes visual inspection of the piping. We use the following tools to inspect the piping:

High Resolution PTZ Camera

Designed for JettyRobot 6 and JettyRobot S.

Technical parameters

  • Full HD colour camera (2 MPix)
  • 10x optical zoom
  • Unlimited rotation
  • Tilt to allow a forward or perpendicular view of the pipe wall
  • Integrated powerful lighting
  • Camera orientation sensor
  • Possibility to measure the dimensions of a defect
  • Integrated laser for ovality measurement
  • Annotated image recording

Pipe Wall Thickness Measurement

Designed for JettyRobot 6.

Technical parameters

  • EMAT sensor,
  • Does not require a couplant between the sensor and the pipe surface.
  • The sensor does not have to touch the surface.
  • Measurement of pipe thicknesses typically in the range of 2-25 mm (depending on sensor configuration and material to be measured).

Accessories

We can add accessories for different applications to JettyRobot technologies on request.
